Josue Joseph

Translator, Soccer Coach, and RAW Haiti Assistant Director

My name is Joseph Josué. I’m 23 years old and a Christian. I always have a smile on my face and am a big joker. I’m still at school and have one year left before I can go to university. My dream is to become a wonderful translator, where I can translate from French to English to Spanish and so on. My dream for now is to leave city sun and find a fulltime job that pays well. I think that RAW Haiti is a wonderful organization. RAW Haiti and the people who work with us can change lots of thing in Haiti if we have the opportunity. I hope that RAW Haiti will give me the opportunity to realize my dreams.

My name is Smoy Damas and I am from Cayes. I live in Martissant, Port-Au-Prince with my aunt. I’m a person who has respect for everyone, whoever you are, rich or poor. Sometimes I don’t like to talk; I prefer silence. I am shy and like doing charity. I work hard and am building my confidence to be a leader. I study plumbing in the Centre Technique Moderne D’Haiti (CETEMOH ). My dream is to complete my secondary degree, I have one more year to finish. My dream is also to become an electrical engineer in the future. My age will rise every year, but I stay positive, since there is life there is hope. My dream is to become a Security Chief for RAW Haiti, because I have a passion for this. When I was a kid my dream was to be a policeman, my dream changed day by day because Haiti is a dangerous country.
